I guarantee what little info the SteelSeries software "might* collect is just a drop in the ocean compared to what Microsoft is collecting - and I'd be willing to bet the "off" switch for the SteelSeries telemetry has 1,000% more of a chance of actually turning it off than the two hundred or so that are scattered throughout Windows do. Any "control" you think you might have over your computer and what it does in the background is an illusion - no matter how many switches you turn off and how much crap you uninstall you're never going to get away from it. If you're running Windows 8/10 and you're concerned about telemetry, I'm sorry to be the one to break it to you, but you're screwed. I've read all the comments here, and just wanted to state the obvious.
